Ferrari Will Launch Digital Token Allowing Fans to Bid on Le Mans-Winning Race Car

Ferrari will mark its entry into digital assets with the introduction of “Token Ferrari 499P,” a blockchain digital token designed to enable its most ardent fans to bid at exclusive auctions for its Ferrari 499P endurance race car that won three consecutive Le Mans wins. According to Reuters, this token allows participation in exclusive auctions for this endurance race car which won three victories at Le Mans over three consecutive years.
Fan Engagement Enters New Era

Ferrari’s innovative move is part of its strategy to strengthen their relationships with elite clientele, particularly targeting younger, tech-savvy individuals. The token will only be made available to members of Ferrari’s Hyperclub –a private network comprised of 100 of their most dedicated endurance racing enthusiasts– and holders can trade among themselves and bid at exclusive auctions, including one for its Le Mans-winning race car (TradingView).
Ferrari and Italian fintech firm Conio have joined forces to launch a digital token. Conio is currently seeking regulatory approval under the European Union Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation in order to comply with EU crypto laws, providing a secure and regulated platform for Ferrari’s elite clients to explore digital asset space. Reuters notes:
Expansion of Digital Payment Options

Ferrari’s latest move into digital assets builds upon their previous ventures into this sector. Starting in 2023, they began accepting Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and USDC for car purchases in the United States, before expanding it further throughout Europe. Although crypto payments are converted to fiat currency payments upon transaction completion, Token Ferrari 499P represents an integrated approach to digital assets offering exclusive experiences and ownership opportunities to some of Ferrari’s most loyal customers. As evidenced on TradingView.
Looking Ahead
The Token Ferrari 499P will debut at the start of 2027 World Endurance Championship season. This date ties in perfectly with Ferrari’s longstanding commitment to innovation, offering unique experiences to their clientele. By entering into digital token technology, Ferrari not only embraces technological innovations, but also reinforces their position as leaders of luxury and exclusivity.
Ferrari is setting a precedent in the luxury automotive industry by pioneering digital assets into their portfolio and giving their most exclusive clients new ways to engage with the brand and its rich racing legacy.
